Asked by: Anonymous

How u got more ppl viewing on ur blog? U have lot of views on AJGC so how u do it?

Answer:

Hi there, Anonymous!

There are a lot of ways to get more views on your blog! I have actually created an eBook that goes super in-depth on the topic (with tons of tips for new and established bloggers!) which you can order from our Commissions page!

However, one of my most important tips is this: post frequently and consistently! The more you post, the more likely it is for people to continually view your blog and the higher that it will rank in Google searches!

I hope this answer helped you, Anonymous!

Question:
Asked by: Purplestarclub

Hello! I was wondering, how do you get the Animal Jam text in your Headers or Sidebar images?

Answer:

Hi there, Purplestarclub!

I assume you mean the Animal Jam font?

To get the Animal Jam font, you will have to download it on your computer. I suggest checking with your parents first before downloading anything on your computer.

You can download fonts on websites like Dafont.com and Font-DB. To download the Animal Jam font, click here to go to the download page on Font-DB. It didn't give me any viruses, and thousands of people download fonts every day without any problems, so I don't believe it will give you one. I download about 5 to 10 fonts a week, and have never gotten a virus. But as I said earlier, it is probably best to check with your parents first.

When you get to the page that the link brought you to, look for the table on the right side of the page. It should tell you the name, family, classification etc. of the font. Search for the line that says Download and click on that.

After you have the font downloaded in your computer, go to your Downloads folder and click on the file that it downloaded. It should have a file name similar to font-5.ttf. When you click on the file, a pop-up window should come up. On that window, click on the Install Font button.

Now, go to Word (on a Windows computer), Pages (on a Mac computer) or Photoshop. When you go to change the font of a selection of text, the Animal Jam font (Tiki Island) should be in your fonts list.

Question:
Asked by: Camp2014

Hi AJGC! Question 1: Why do some graphics require credit? Question 2: How do you get a graphic to have transparent background?

Answer:

Hi there, Camp2014!

To answer your first question, some graphics require more work than others. For example, a graphic where I have to cut a background out of a very thin and complicated image might require credit since it took me more time.

As for the second question, I suggest you check out a tutorial on How to Make a Graphic that the AJGC posted awhile ago. You can view it by clicking here. You can skip to the 10th or 11th slide to learn how to use transparency on both Pixlr (a free editing program) and Photoshop.

I hope this tutorial helped you, Camp2014!

hi i was wondering if u could tell meh how to make a header for ur blog. thx.

Answer:

Hi there, Anonymous! Making a header for your blog is pretty easy! Of course, there are many different ways to make a header, but here is a quick one!

1. Go to Google Drive

2. On the far left area of the screen, there should be a big red button that says NEW on it. Click on the button.

3. Select the Drawing choice by hovering over the More option at the bottom of the menu.

4. Go to Animal Jam Graphic Central's Backgrounds page and find a cool background for your header!

5. Right click on the background you want and select the Copy Image Address option.

6. Go back to your Google Drawing and click on the Image icon on the toolbar. (It looks like a square with a mountain inside.)

7. When the Insert Image window pops up, click on the By URL option.

8. Paste the image address of the background you want into the box.

9. After your background loads in the preview, click on the blue Select button.

10. Resize your background to the size you want for your header (you can crop it too) and then select the Text option on the toolbar. (It looks like a square with a T inside.)

11. Type the title of your blog into the text box, and change the fonts, colors and styles of the text to match your blog's color scheme.

12. You can add graphics to your header, a description, shapes... anything you want, really!
